I’ve happily entered my villain era … zero fucks given and 100% unapologetically me. I am told I give Jack Russell Terrier energy—curious, high energy, outgoing, and easily distracted. Oh, look, a squirrel!

I am proudly GenX. I have an adult son who is an amazing human. I celebrate my strength in not only surviving medical adversity but thriving and smiling through it all.  I love my family, created both by birth and by chance, and rejoice that they love me and each other. How lucky am I?

Music has been a major part of my life since before I could walk, thanks to my dad. His love of music fueled mine. Music provides the soundtrack to my life’s ups and downs. And if there is music, I dance! In the kitchen, in elevators, with my friends and lovers, or just bopping along by myself. I joyfully embrace the freedom and energy that comes from losing myself in the rhythm of a good dance beat.

My adopted hometown of Dallas is such a vibrant place to live. There is so much to do and see. Weekends find me exploring markets or brunching with friends or vibing at festivals—there is always something going on. Earlybirds fits in perfectly—all about making connections with other women in a safe environment and dancing our asses off. With the bonus of hitting the sheets before midnight!

I completely believe age doesn’t define us; it liberates us. So, let’s shine like the stars we are and never stop dancing.
