I’ve spent over 20 years in education working primarily with Multilingual Learners and their families. I’m also a mom of two littles who keep life busy, loud, and joyful. Dance has always been a huge part of my life, and I love how it brings people together- whether that’s on the dance floor or around the table at an epic dinner party.

When I’m not working or parenting, you’ll find me hiking, traveling, exploring new cultures and people, using my French and Spanish, and constantly soaking up all the things (I’m an avid learner at heart). A proud Kansas Citian of 15+ years, I’m beyond excited to be a part of KC Earlybirds; bringing early-morning dance energy to women with full lives, a little bit of chaos, and a whole lot of “we’re tired but we’re dancing anyway” spirit.

I have never understood someone’s ability to hear music and not dance. Sitting at a concert?! Nope! Your girl is dancing, even in the nosebleeds. I’m stoked to be a part of the EBC community and inspired to live Susie’s message to ‘Be Here Now’—something I aspire to do more of in this distracting world.

I’m an Omaha native who has once called Charlotte, Charleston, and Chicago home, but Kansas City is looking like it will be my forever home. The people here are the salt of the earth, unmatched in warmth and immensely passionate. I am proud to be raising my three kids here.

I am a sales manager for a spectacular resort in Palm Springs, California. I’ve been in the hotel industry for 20+ years, which has been wonderfully convenient to satisfy my love for travel and new places. If a trip is on the calendar, I’m happy. Outside of home and career, I’m endlessly curious, passionate about city development, obsessed with anything self-care, and truly, deeply in love with meeting new people. A quote I try to live by is: ‘Remember when you wanted what you currently have?’ It helps remind me to be grateful, even on hard days. See you on the dance floor!
