Meet Your Ambassadors

Lisa Hom
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY but I have lived in Cranford, a small close-knit community in Central Jersey for over 13 years with my partner, our two teenage daughters and our precious Cavapoo, Barney.
I attended my first Earlybirds event at the Parkside Lounge in New York City. The second I stepped through the velvet drapes, I knew I was entering another world–a world where women could come together and in the words of Susie Lee, remember who the fuck they are. Seeing Susie on stage when she could barely talk was so inspiring and such a poignant reminder that we owe it to ourselves to seize joy whenever we can.
When I’m not dancing, I’m a copywriter by trade. I’ve spent most of my career working for global brands and, while I’ve met some amazing people, I’ve always felt like something was missing. For years, I’ve been searching for ways to make a real difference in people’s lives—so I’m incredibly excited to be going back to school to pursue my Master of Social Work at Fordham University in 2026. I may not be fully licensed as a therapist until my late 50s, but I truly believe it’s never too late to change your life, especially when those changes bring you closer to your values.
My 50s have truly been one of the most exciting times in my life. With elderly parents and busy kids, it’s certainly not easy—but if you had told me that I’d be hosting dance parties and going back to school at this age, I never would have believed you. It’s just another reminder that transformation and change aren’t just possible—they’re essential as we get older.
