I have called Seattle home for over 21 years, and I adore it for its jaw-dropping beauty, comforting gray skies, and coffee so good it feels like a love language. When I’m not coaching reluctant joggers into joyful pavement pounders, you’ll find me in or near water—ocean, lake, pool, giant puddle—I’m blissfully amphibious. I also dance like joy is a survival skill, blast music that demands singing along, and tell very bad jokes with absolute confidence. (And will occasionally snort.)

A mom to one brilliant human adult and one geriatric black lab who believes he is still a puppy, I am a community-builder to my core. One of my greatest joys? Leading Seattle’s Earlybirds dance parties, where I get to witness mass, unfiltered booty shaking. And get home way before the coach turns back into a pumpkin.

As a transformational coach (owner of Running Evolution), author, speaker, retreat leader, and podcast host, I empower women to claim their voice—and their sneakers. I also run Hot Flash Marketing, helping fierce and bold businesses craft magnetic, audacious brands. My mission: build community, spark confidence, and laugh loudly along the way.

Bicoastal at heart, I’m originally from a small beach town on the eastern end of Long Island. These days, I call Seattle home—enjoying newfound empty-nest life with my husband, John, and our kitty, Junebug, while our two college-aged sons explore their own paths around the PNW.

I’ve spent most of my career in fashion photo production—a world built on creativity, collaboration, and the thrill of pulling beautiful chaos into focus. Now, I’m channeling that same energy into a personal mission: finding joy and spreading it wherever I can.

I’m lucky to live close to Lake Washington and a short drive from the salty, chilly waters of Puget Sound. Nothing centers me quite like the water. There’s something about that first plunge, salt on my skin, that brings me right back to myself. Similar to the joy I get from dancing.

My first Earlybirds experience was in New York City, and I’ll never forget it. A room full of sweaty, smiling women in sneakers, moving and singing together. When “You Oughta Know” came on and the whole crowd screamed in unison, the joy was electric. That moment captured everything I love about this community: connection, freedom, and pure, collective energy.

    Forever chasing that vibe. 🪩🤘🥰
