FAQs

If we don’t already have events in your city, the best way to get on the roster is to subscribe to updates. Choosing your city in the drop-down menu acts as a “vote” and helps us gauge interest in each city. Can’t find your area in the dropdown menu? Add it in the “Other City” field.
- Subscribe to email updates for your city. You’ll get a heads up 2-3 days before tickets go on sale, and you’ll get the ticket link the moment tickets are released.
- Make sure you have an account and are logged in to whatever ticketing site the venue uses before the 10am ticket release.
- Each venue has a different maximum number of tickets each customer can buy. If you are buying for a large group, check with the venue to make sure you can buy the number you need. If you need to buy more than the allotted number, recruit friends to buy tickets at the release time.
- If you followed all of these steps and you still didn’t get tickets, don’t despair! Join our private Facebook community—it’s very likely that other Earlybirds will be selling their tickets in the weeks and days leading up to the event.
Our parties sell out really fast! If you’re subscribed to updates about your city, you’ll be the first to know when tickets go on sale. We always email our subscribers about ticket drops before we announce them on social media!
Other than some parties in Chicago, we don’t control the ticketing for our events. We are under contract with the venue, and they manage ticketing via whatever platform they use (Ticketmaster, AXS, etc.). When a party is sold out, most venues will not release more tickets, as “sold out” mean they’ve reached their sellable capacity. Feel free to reach out to the venue with any ticketing questions!
The good news: Many Earlybirds go on our Facebook community page to sell their tickets when they can no longer make it. And because our community is awesome, they will very likely sell their ticket to you at face value, unlike at reseller sites where the markup is outrageous!
For events in Chicago at Park West, email us. For all other events, contact the venue. (But first check your spam folder 😉)
If a Chicago event purchased on DICE is sold out, you can sell your ticket to the waitlist. (Read more about refunds from DICE here.) Everywhere else: The venues that book us only offer refunds if an event is canceled. If you can’t make it, try to sell your tickets to another Earlybird on our Facebook community page rather than go through a third-party resale site like StubHub.
We created Earlybirds Club as a safe space for women, trans, and non-binary folks (something that’s needed now more than ever). But people of all backgrounds and identities who are 21+ are encouraged and welcome to attend all of our events.
We are Gen-Xers so we lean heavy on 80s and 90s, but we get into the 2000s quite a bit, too. Genres include hip-hop, pop, R&B, new wave, and house.
During our events, our DJs are busy mixing and cuing up songs, so requests are difficult to accommodate in the moment. Please don’t shout at a DJ at work! 😄 However, if you hope to hear a certain song, email us at least one week before the party date and we will see if we can fit it in.
We cannot emphasize this enough: Any time a bunch of people are dancing their hearts out together, it will get hot. (Especially when many are perimenopausal or menopausal 🔥) The venues blast the AC but there’s no getting around it—you will sweat, so dress accordingly.
Yes! All of our venues have a full bar, plus plenty of NA drinks.
Hype From the Crowd

I have been obsessed with this concept and company ever since I learned about it. It’s GENIUS. I finally got to my first event this year and it did not disappoint. It was everything I’d hoped it would be, and more. The founder said it best; there is sheer magic in being able to come together and just move your body to music freely and without judgment. Happiness factor=1000.

We had such a blast! Loved the chance to dance with friends — not worrying about male attention. And we got home before 11pm!

Cathartic, positive, safe, joyful and so much fun to be dancing our hearts out with other women! We will be back, with more soul sisters to join the collective and beautiful experience. Cheers to Laura, Susie and Helean!

I have no idea when I last went out and danced for four hours straight. No judgement, no dudes, no painful high heels. Just joy. Surprise: I was not prepared for the tidal wave of memories the music would release. Next time, my high school girlies need to be flown in and dance the (early) evening away with me.

As a trans woman I was so grateful to be among such a supportive, happy, fun group. The feminine energy in the crowd was wonderful to take in! I hope you will come back to Providence on a regular basis.

My favorite moment was the whole night! A night out at Earlybirds with high school and college friends was so good for my overall mental health. We used to LOVE to go out dancing in our 20s, and this really brought all of us SO MUCH JOY. We really had such a fantastic time dancing our hearts out. It was a great venue and crowd and an absolute blast!! I’m so thankful we were able to go and really hope we can go again! Thank you!!

Catharsis, camaraderie, compassion, creativity, connection, courage.

I loved so much of the night, but my #1 favorite moment was singing along with the entire room to Wilson Phillips at the end of the night–we all just need to hold on for one more day. It’s a call to action, a call to survive, a call to sisterhood–just hold on!

It truly felt like time travel! I was suddenly back in my 20s with good friends heading out for a fun night. We got dressed up, pre-gamed (now at a restaurant with dinner and cocktails instead of shots at home), waited in line to get in (but briefly, and in warmer clothing!), and then danced our assess off (but bathroom, bar, and everything was SO much easier). We even went to karaoke after and still got home before midnight. Best time ever!
