What an amazing experience! A room full of people (sans cis men) who were there to just dance and have a good time. It was the first time I’d been to a club in 20 years and was surprised to realize it was the first time I didn’t have to be vigilant for my safety. The atmosphere was supportive, safe and full of people taking care of each other. Thank you for creating this event, I didn’t realize how much I needed it.

I have been obsessed with this concept and company ever since I learned about it. It’s GENIUS. I finally got to my first event this year and it did not disappoint. It was everything I’d hoped it would be, and more. The founder said it best; there is sheer magic in being able to come together and just move your body to music freely and without judgment. Happiness factor=1000.

My younger self loves to dance and sing out loud. My 51 year old self prefers the couch and a decent bed time. But this event was beyond all that I had imagined and more! First off seeing my charity of choice coincidentally being the recipient organization for the event and then dancing my heart out with my girls in an environment full of fun loving people! No drama. No weirdos trying to hit on you. Just a great time where it felt like we were all there just to have a good time and still make it home before midnight!

We had such a blast! Loved the chance to dance with friends — not worrying about male attention. And we got home before 11pm!

This is exactly what I needed! Exactly what we needed! My girlfriends and I jumped, Roger Rabbited, aerobically danced, and stretched when needed :) Thank you for bringing us a space for joy, movement, and pure happiness. All I saw were smiles everywhere!

I have been looking for something like this for a long time as I love to dance and I finally found this. I came alone but I didn’t feel alone. I had the best time and I already bought my next ticket in my hometown, although l will travel for this again.

Drove to Austin for my birthday and had a blast! Just so free, dancing and vibing with everyone there!

Absolute best night I have had in the longest time! Danced for 4 straight hours & can’t wait to go do it again! The vibe was amazing… cartwheels, dance circles, on point playlist. Hands down AH-MAZING!

I wish I could bottle the energy of a room of hundreds of women happy, dancing, laughing, hugging and forgetting about the shit show they left at home. It was like a dream and I cannot wait to go back.

Earlybirds is the best thing ever! Dancing is my happy place but, as a middle aged woman, I thought my dancing days were relagated to wedding receptions and bar mitzvahs. Then Earlybirds came to town! I go by myself, find my little corner of the dance floor and dance my butt off for hours. The vibe is friendly, the music is great and I’m in bed before 11pm. What could be better?

I had THE best time dancing the night away with my friends! It had been years since my friends and I had gone dancing together and we can’t wait to do it again! Thank you for creating this space for community and joy!

I have no idea when I last went out and danced for four hours straight. No judgement, no dudes, no painful high heels. Just joy. Surprise: I was not prepared for the tidal wave of memories the music would release. Next time, my high school girlies need to be flown in and dance the (early) evening away with me.

As a trans woman I was so grateful to be among such a supportive, happy, fun group. The feminine energy in the crowd was wonderful to take in! I hope you will come back to Providence on a regular basis.

I haven’t been surrounded by that much JOY in a while! I loved looking around at all the smiling, singing women dancing with zero inhibitions. Thank you for making this a reality for all of us who just wanna dance with somebody!

I have so missed the energy of a pulsing dance floor … everyone just expressing joy with their bodies and singing at the top of their lungs amid the flashing lights. It was cathartic, refreshing, and lifegiving. Thank you, Earlybirds!

I LOVED watching all the women old, young, and in-between shaking their booty, bonding with friends, living their best lives for one night … It was one of the best nights I’ve had in forever! Also, as the mother of a trans daughter I loved that you keep it open to all women. I hope to enjoy one soon with her!

I kept turning around in every direction to see the sea of women dancing, singing, having fun with their friends. It really is rare and special.

My favorite moment was the whole night! A night out at Earlybirds with high school and college friends was so good for my overall mental health. We used to LOVE to go out dancing in our 20s, and this really brought all of us SO MUCH JOY. We really had such a fantastic time dancing our hearts out. It was a great venue and crowd and an absolute blast!! I’m so thankful we were able to go and really hope we can go again! Thank you!!

Earlybirds Galentine’s Day party was everything we never knew we needed in our lives! Singing every word to every song with 1,000 new best friends and dancing til we sweat through our sequins. Loved every minute.

Hard to pin down a favorite moment since the entire evening was such a blast. Everyone screaming at the top of their lungs to Charli XCX or Alanis? Mostly just being there with good friends, tearful, joyful and full of love.

Catharsis, camaraderie, compassion, creativity, connection, courage.

[I loved] Laura and Susie’s speeches from the stage, singing and dancing with my friends, just taking in the happy crowd from the stage to the balcony, all of the friendly strangers I met while in line for coat check, while getting a drink, and on the dance floor.

[I loved] when everyone started jumping as soon as the beat dropped. The energy was loving, positive, and therapeutic.

I loved so much of the night, but my #1 favorite moment was singing along with the entire room to Wilson Phillips at the end of the night–we all just need to hold on for one more day. It’s a call to action, a call to survive, a call to sisterhood–just hold on!

It truly felt like time travel! I was suddenly back in my 20s with good friends heading out for a fun night. We got dressed up, pre-gamed (now at a restaurant with dinner and cocktails instead of shots at home), waited in line to get in (but briefly, and in warmer clothing!), and then danced our assess off (but bathroom, bar, and everything was SO much easier). We even went to karaoke after and still got home before midnight. Best time ever!

The energy in the room was amazing and positive. There was joy and fun everywhere you look. I loved dancing without a care in the world and never felt judged.
