The Birds Behind the Beats

These are the women who make you forget you have a 7am alarm. Our resident DJs know how to read a room full of ladies who are here for it — and deliver four hours of pure, sweaty, sing-at-the-top-of-your-lungs joy.

They live for the moment the beat drops and hundreds of women lose their minds to a song they forgot they knew every word to. So do we.

What Makes an Earlybirds DJ?

Not just anyone can hold down this dance floor. Our DJs aren’t just technically skilled — they’re students of the crowd. They know that the woman in the sparkly top near the speaker has been waiting all night for that one Madonna song. They know when to build, when to drop, and when to just let “Crazy in Love” do its thing.

Every Earlybirds DJ shares the same mission: get you out of your head and onto the floor, and keep you there until we turn the lights up at 10pm.

They’re also genuinely delightful humans. Which tracks, because that’s the only kind of person we want anywhere near this party.

  • DJ Kelly Kellz

    She / Her

Twenty years on the decks. Still just getting started.

I’m DJ Kelly Kellz — aka The Vibe Curator — and I’ve been creating unforgettable moments since 2005. Open-format is my lane, which means R&B, Hip Hop, Top 40, Dancehall, Afrobeats, and whatever the room is asking for. Because that’s the thing about me: I read the room. Every time.

For me, DJing has never just been about playing songs. It’s about creating a feeling. A memory. A space where you can fully let go.

Jersey girl by roots, DMV by way of the last decade, and I’ve taken my Northeast energy and love for music nationwide and internationally, from Jamaica to Aruba to the Cayman Islands to the Bahamas.

Earlybirds Club holds a special place in my rotation. Not because it’s a party — because it’s a movement. A space where women come to dance, sing, and exist without reservation. I show up for that every single time.

Off the decks? You’ll find me powerlifting, traveling, dancing, or deep in a true crime rabbit hole.

The vibe doesn’t curate itself. Good thing I do.

  • Kit Orion

    She / Her

I’m Caitlyn O’Brien — musician, producer, and DJ based in Boston, operating under my creative umbrella Kit Orion.

For over a decade, I’ve played in bands, worked as a session musician, fronted my own original psychedelic pop project, and DJed everything from weddings, parties and events throughout New England. The through line in all of it has always been community, connection, and my love of music.

Behind the decks, I’m known for killer transitions and sets that travel across time, space, and genre. I aim to create experiences that feel intentional, connected, and alive from the first track to the last.

Being part of the Earlybirds community in both Boston and Providence is something I’m especially grateful for—it’s truly one of my favorite spaces to DJ.

One name. Many worlds. All music.

  • DJ hbom

    She / Her

Some things are just meant to be.

It started with my cousin Susie cornering me at Christmas dinner in 2023. “Can you DJ my party?” The answer probably should’ve been no — I had been retired for five years after all, but I said yes anyway. And I’m really glad I did!

From Party #1 to Party #100, the mission has never changed: show up, show out, and give the people what they need. I’m not stopping until we hit #1,000 and way beyond that.

Hip Hop is always home base for me, but the vibe leads. R&B, New Wave, House, Latin, Pop — I don’t discriminate. The dancefloor tells me what it needs and I listen.

We’ve taken this thing everywhere — Chicago (home), Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, Boston, Philly, New York, DC, LA, San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto. Coast to coast and across the border. And we’re just getting started.

As long as women are out here looking for a safe space to move, sweat, and just feel like themselves — I’m here for it! See you on the dance floor!

  • Sandra Suave

    She / Her

Twenty years in the making. Still leveling up.

I’m Sandra Suave, and my journey to the decks didn’t start with a single moment. It started with years of paying attention.

In 2004, I co-founded B.BLYSS! Productions, helping build a new kind of nightlife in Chicago — high quality, cultured, intentional. As music coordinator, I spent years studying and learning from some of the most versatile DJs in the city. I wasn’t just watching. I was absorbing everything.

When I was ready, I committed fully — enrolled at Scratch DJ Academy, graduated, and by 2011 what started as a hobby became a professional career.

Since then I’ve been a resident DJ on radio shows including Vocalo Radio Chicago and Mixit Radio Texas. I spent seven years as a resident DJ on the internationally known Festival At Sea Cruise aboard Carnival and Celebrity Cruise Lines. I’ve held residencies and bookings at exclusive venues, festivals, and corporate events across Chicago and beyond.

My range is my superpower. No matter the event, no matter the crowd, I find the sound that fits, and I make it move.

Chicago is home base. But the music takes me everywhere.

The journey started in 2004. Watch what happens next.

  • Banga

    She / Her

Every genre. Every era. Every room.

I’m Banga, international open-format DJ, and I don’t do predictable.

My sets travel. Hip-hop, house, Latin, Afro, Jersey club, baile funk, and whatever else the moment is calling for. I build on versatility, instinct, and a healthy love for keeping people on their toes. You never quite know where the night is going — and that’s exactly the point.

Beyond the decks, I created Banga Bash, a party series built on culture, community, and music that pushes forward. Because a great night is never just about the songs. It’s about the experience, the people, and the energy that lingers long after the music stops.

From intimate lounges to packed stages, I bring a global sound with a identity that’s distinctly my own. Every room gets the full version — no halfhearted sets, no autopilot.

If it’s not a theme night, you can expect music from the 1980s to the 2010s. New wave, hip hop, R&B, pop, top 40, dance, house and more. The DJ is going to keep everyone on their toes!

No, DJs vary from party to party, but sometimes we have DJs return on a repeat basis. It will vary and there is no set rotation/pattern.

Once we confirm a DJ for a date, we include them on our flyer and tag them on our social posts. Check back to this site for ticket links and Instagram for the latest.

You can email requests@early-birds.club and the request will make its way to that night’s DJ. (Be sure to mention the date and location of the party.) Making a request does not guarantee the song will be played, but we will do our best to make it happen!

Please refrain from chatting with the DJ while they are spinning. Our DJs are tasked with setting the vibe and curating the experience, which requires attention and focus. You are in good hands!
