Hi there! I’m a content director and copywriter, a comedy writer, book coach, and an empty nester with one college-age kid. I co-authored the gift book New Erotica for Feminists: Satirical Fantasies of Life, Love, and Equal Pay, which grew out of a viral McSweeney’s piece of the same name.

I’m originally from Florida and have been a New Yorker for 25 years. After stints in an illegal midtown commercial sublet and the East Village, I moved to Queens, the epicenter of great food, where I live with my husband and cat.

I adore being an Earlybirds ambassador because I get a chance to go dancing and get a decent night’s sleep—but I also appreciate the sense of camaraderie and community at each event!

Hey there! I’m a Brooklyn-based event producer who loves turning ordinary nights into memorable gatherings. I’ve been throwing parties since my twenties in Detroit, where dancing was always the fastest way to express myself and make new friends — and it still is.

I love to organize art parties, themed dinners, dance nights, and pop-up events that bring together people who might not otherwise cross paths. Discovering unique venues, creating welcoming atmospheres, and helping strangers strike up new conversations are all very much my jam. I’m also part of Tails of Glory, a group that choreographs and marches in the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade.

Earlybirds Club is everything I’ve been passionate about for years, plus a disco ball and a reasonable bedtime. New York City is one of the most vibrant, eclectic, diverse places in the world, and it deserves top-tier dance parties for everyone — no matter how early you’re getting up in the morning.
