Former journalist and fashion columnist turned public sector comms director who moonlights as a part‑time professor and full‑time feminist troublemaker. I’m always the first person on the dance floor (yes, the kitchen floor counts) and I refuse to care that I have no rhythm. Dancing is never cringe. It’s medicine, it’s joy, it’s chaos therapy, and I’m here for all of it.
Mom to one grown kid, one teenager, two dogs, and an alarming number of vinyl records. Most days you can find me chasing live music across downtown Toronto, hunting down the stinkiest cheese I can find, and double‑fisting a coffee and a Diet Coke because balance is a myth and caffeine is real.
I believe the world needs way more safe, loud, joy‑soaked spaces for women and gender‑diverse people to let go, reconnect, and remember that fun and laughter are a form of rebellion. See you rebels on the Earlybirds dance floor soon!
