As a native Sacramentan, I can’t go anywhere where I won’t know someone, as my husband loves to tease me. He’s not wrong … it’s my blessing and my curse, but it is fantastic for networking.
By day, I work full time in Public Health Policy & Regulations while running a busy household with my husband, 2 young kiddos, 1 dog, 3 cats, and a partridge in a pear tree. I’m also the PTA Multicultural Event Coordinator and I work on community outreach and social media for the Hālau (hula school) where I’ve been dancing for the past 19 years. With a background in Polynesian dance, cheerleading, show choir, and competitive tap/jazz/ballet, dance was once my entire world—until life, bills, and motherhood took center stage.
Attending my first Earlybirds Club event reconnected me to the person I was before the chaos of daily routines took over. Dancing to the greatest hits from my carefree years, laughing with my friends, and making new ones while passing around bubble guns created an atmosphere of simple joy, zero judgment, and pure nostalgia. After experiencing Earlybirds Club, I felt recharged and I was reminded of who I used to be. I look forward to helping others reclaim their spark, too!
